In case the cardholder can provide a contract of feeding-in the produced energy into the grid of the local energy provider, the Home Charging Reimbursement Service is available. In this case, the loss of feeding-in equals the cost of energy consumption of the provider. The feeding-in contract of the cardholder needs to show a fixed price per kWh. In cases of local storage without a feeding-in contract (e.g. home-battery-storage), the Home Charging Reimbursement Service is not available.
