Not necessarily. At most of the charging stations in our network it is possible to charge by swiping your Fuel & Charge card at the charging station. At some of the stations you can choose whether it is more convenient to authenticate with your Fuel & Charge card or with the app.
However, there are some charging stations where you can only start and stop the charging session via the app.
